Main scientific activities: Joint chemical laboratory was organized within collaboration of Al-Faraby KazNU with Rostock University (Germany) in order to carry out advanced researches in organic chemistry and catalysis field. Laboratory is placed at Rostock University and equipped with such modern equipment as NMR-, mass-, IR-, UV-spectrometers, chromatographs etc. Such modern equipment permits to realize high-level researches.
The international cooperation: About 20 joint publications have been published in journals with high impact-factor. Curator of this laboratory is Kelzhanova Nazken from KazNU, who worked as PhD student at first, and now is employed as scientific officer of this laboratory. She assists students and scientists from KazNU to carry out joint scientific researches. KazNU students and scientists have got an opportunity to receive skills of working on modern equipment and organizing high-leveled scientific research at Rostock University due to opening of this kind laboratory.
