Center "KazNU-INTEL"
The cooperation agreement was signed on May 26, 2014 by the rector of Al-Farabi KazNU and the director of business development in Russia and the CIS of the corporation Intel A.V. Avdeyev. This project opens new opportunities for the accumulation, development and dissemination of knowledge, a significant expansion of educational programs aimed at training, retraining, upgrading and certifying staff on Intel's high-performance computing and mobile applications software. Open lectures and seminars with the participation of Intel specialists are one of the competences of center "KazNU-INTEL" on high-performance computing, which was opened on the initiative of the Mechanics and Mathematics Department of KazNU and the Research Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics.
Joint activities of the Al-Farabi KazNU and company "Intel" will play a big role in raising the level of our university in the development and promotion of modern educational technologies in the field of high-performance computing, will provide a unique opportunity to enhance the qualifications of young scientists and teachers in many areas of scientific research, contributing to the initiation of technological entrepreneurship.
