An exhibition of paintings was held at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University as part of the festive program "New Kazakhstan: Values that Unite Society" dedicated to Nauryz.

The Nauryz-Art event featured an exhibition of famous artists, professional photographers, as well as paintings by teaching staff and students. The purpose of the event is to popularize the new concept of Nauryz in society, to form the consciousness of young people and to establish creative ties between the masters of painting and the university.

All the works are based on the theme of the Nauryz concept – "Korisu Kun", "Zhailau Kun", "History Worship Day", "Day of Good Deeds", "Day of Skill and Strength", "Intelligence Day", "National Cuisine Day", "Great Ulus Day", "Day of Tradition" and dedicated to the popularization of traditional values.

In his speech, the President of the Academy of Arts of the Republic of Kazakhstan, laureate of the State Prize Amandos Akanayev expressed confidence that such events will contribute to the formation of spiritual values among young people and the replenishment of knowledge in the field of culture.
