Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev received a delegation headed by Dr. Ku Hok Bun, the Programme Leader of DSW and Sociology Panel Chair in the Department of Applied Social Sciences at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

The head of the university presented the guests the achievements of the university and noted the systematic cooperation with Chinese universities. 

In turn, Ku Hok Bun thanked for the warm welcome and focused on the development of joint projects.

"The Hong Kong Polytechnic University is one of the leading higher education institutions in the world, it ranks 65^th in the QS ranking. Cooperation between the two universities is growing day by day. For example, general conferences and meetings are held. In the future, work will continue on the development of double–degree education, exchange of academic staff and students between the two universities," the guest of honor stated.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views and discussed issues of further development of mutually beneficial cooperation.
