Al-Farabi Kazakh National University actively helps citizens affected by the earthquake in Turkey.

On the initiative of Rector Zhanseit Kanseituly Tuimebayev, academic and administrative staff of the university transferred a one-day salary to the victims of the disaster. In addition, a humanitarian aid center has been opened. Approximately 20 yurts were collected at the reception point, as well as blankets, mattresses, hygiene products, heaters, clothes for adults and children. The cargo will be sent by special flight.

The KazNU team sends words of support to Turkish people: "Dear Turkish brothers! Even if we are far away, our hearts are with you! We wish you well! We are together!"
