KAZNU WILL IMPLEMENT JOINT PROJECTS WITH BASF

Chairman of the Management Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev met with a delegation headed by the CEO of BASF Saule Baitzhaunova and discussed issues on establishing cooperation. During the meeting, rector of the university told the honored guests in detail about the activities of the university and focused on scientific and innovative projects developed by KazNU scientists.


              


"The development of science is the future of our country. In this regard, KazNU has prepared 100 innovative projects. The upcoming plan is commercialization of scientific projects developed by our scientists. KazNU has already launched the Science Park and the Earth Remote Sensing Center. The university has opened centers of well-known companies such as Samsung, Hewlett–Packard, Cisco, Minolta, Fujitsu, Alcatel, Microsoft, Kaspersky Lab, Huawei, as well as centers of high-tech certification companies, institutes and academies," the rector of the university stated.

 

       

 

In turn, CEO of BASF Saule Baitzhaunova thanked the rector of the university for the warm welcome and expressed her willingness to cooperate and support KazNU’s scientific projects.

 

At the end of the meeting, the parties discussed the establishment of partnership and agreed on the joint implementation of large-scale scientific and innovative projects in the future.
