Chairman of the Board–Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev visited the Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey in Almaty and expressed deep condolences.

Chairman of the Management Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev met with a delegation headed by the CEO of BASF Saule Baitzhaunova and discussed issues on establishing cooperation. During the meeting, rector of the university told the honored guests in detail about the activities of the university and focused on scientific and innovative projects developed by KazNU scientists.

ХХІ century has especially raised the issue of food and nutrition security. To solve it, it is necessary to improve the interaction between specialists around the world, as well as to provide students and young scientists with the information on the latest developments, achievements and tools in the key areas of expertise.

In the international Webometrics Ranking of World Universities, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University is ranked 1816 among more than 30 thousand universities from around the world. Also, Al-Farabi KazNU in this ranking took the second position among the universities of Kazakhstan, thereby entering the top three domestic university sites.

The annual international forum Digital Almaty is the largest Tech event, which is held in Almaty with the participation of business representatives, international experts, the IT community, government agencies and the media. At the forum scientists of KazNU presented educational programs and scientific projects.

The delegation of the Ural Federal University (UrFU) headed by the Vice-Rector for International Relations Sergey Tushin visited the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. At the meeting with representatives of the university management, the directions and prospects of mutually beneficial cooperation of universities were discussed.
