The delegation headed by the representatives of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (Germany) Hendrik Meurs visited the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

A delegation headed by Senior Adviser on Education of the Asia-Pacific Regional Bureau of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Jael Shisanya paid a special visit to Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

During the meeting the President was presented with the results of academic, research and innovation activities, new directions and prospects for the development of the university.

Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev received a delegation headed by Xu Guixian, Head of the Foreign Affairs Office of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. At the meeting, the parties discussed issues on further development of cooperation and voiced a number of proposals. 

During the official visit to Moscow Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al–Farabi Kazakh National University, Zhanseit Tuimebayev met with the heads of leading Russian universities, discussing prospects for cooperation.

An international scientific and practical conference "Anti-Aging is a New Direction in the Development of Law" was held at the Al–Farabi Kazakh National University, where issues of improving and developing new mechanisms for creating conditions for maintaining active longevity were discussed.

Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev arrived in Moscow on a working visit to participate in the XV Congress of the Eurasian Association of Universities.

Chairman of the Management Board – Rector of Al–Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev met with Director General of Kazakhstan Nuclear Power Plants LLP Timur Zhantikin and Head of the Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayabek Sakhiyev.

A press tour for media representatives was held at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, during which the achievements of the Scientific and Technological Park and research laboratories of KazNU were presented.
