"Yassawiya: Sufi traditions in light of science"

The local self-government authorities of the Turkestan region of the Turkestan region, with the support of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, plans to hold a festival in Turkestan from August 15 to September 15, dedicated to the study and promotion of the heritage of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi. The festival will host the International Scientific Conference "Yassawiya: Sufi traditions in light of science" and a number of other cultural and tourist events.

In this regard, on the basis of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in the period from 05/31/2022 to 07/05/2022. the following international and republican educational events were held:

- 06/22-30/2022 A series of webinars: "THE HERITAGE OF KHOJA AHMED YASAVY AND THE SPIRITUAL CULTURE OF THE KAZAKH PEOPLE";

- 06/14-21/2022 Republican round table "KHOJA AHMED YASSAUI AND SUFI TRADITION IN KAZAKHSTAN";

- 07/05/2022 International online conference "THE CONTRIBUTION OF THE TURKS OF CENTRAL ASIA TO THE WORLD CIVILIZATION".

In addition to the above activities, a researcher of the Al-Farabi Center, doctoral student of cultural studies Oserbaev Yeldos took part in the 1st International Turkological Congress in Chankyry (Turkey), which took place on 06/08-10/2022. Asia to world civilization”, where he shared his research on Kazakh culture, its role in the Turkic world.

The main organizers were: the Department of Philosophy of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science and the Al-Farabi Center of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

Auezov Institute of Literature and Art of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Khoja Akhmet Yasawi International Kazakh-Turkish University (Kazakhstan); Hacettepe University, Cankyra Karatekin University, Turkological Institute (Turkey), Mirzo Ulugbek National University (Uzbekistan).
